As mentioned in an earlier thread one of the outcomes from our meeting was need to select a second kit for colour clashes. I have done some research and as promised come up with some options which you the players can have a say in deciding the colour of our 2nd kit. The kit is Nike Striker jerseys which will have black shorts and black socks so they can be used for 1st kit as well. Therefore, you need to decide on colour of the jersey. Please click on the website below which will take you straight to the relevant page. Basically, the colour choice is the yellow, either of the 2 blues and the green jersey. We cannot use red as it not a colour change and personally I would avoid the white for practical reasons in keeping clean etc. However, if there is a strong demand from you for the white jersey then please indicate if there is a preference for the one with the red flash [under arms] or blue flash. The website is www.directsoccer.co.uk/acatalog/Senior-Striker.htmlI will be e-mailing most of you separately [if I have an address] in case some don't visit this site. Please talk to the lads who go training each Thursday and tell them about this as some like Scott and Aled etc don't seem to go on here. Please post your preferences on here no later than Thursday next week i.e. 5th July as there is at least a 3 week delivery so I need to get the order off to ensure we get the kit in time.

Id fancy the white one with the red flash under the arm to match my boots!
If not the white kit I d go with the yellow one ,don t think any of the blues will really go with black shorts and socks .

The green one is the one my uni team wore last season, it's pretty good. However, out of the choices, I'd say the yellow.

is there any chance of every1 buyin their own can pay to have our numbers and names put on them then plkus no1 will have to take the kit home bar every individual player as their own kit ? only a sugestion and i also like the yellow for the bright factor and easier to see stimo ....

is there any chance of every1 buyin their own can pay to have our numbers and names put on them then plkus no1 will have to take the kit home bar every individual player as their own kit ? only a sugestion and i also like the yellow for the bright factor and easier to see stimo .... The 2nd Kit which looks as if it will be yellow given the overwhelming responses so far, will come with the numbers already on them. As for buying your own and putting your name on them, we did discuss this at the meeting but there were practical difficulties. In order to appear more 'professional' as a team we wanted all players on pitch to look the same i.e. all numbered and all with or without names. We do not want some with names and some without. Also, if some paid for their jerseys and names what happens if they leave the club, don't get picked or are injured for weeks on end. We wouldn't have enough jerseys and don't want someone else playing in a shirt with Stimson or whatever on his back. Some players couldn't afford to buy or personalise a shirt anyway so these were some of the reasons we decided against the policy. Sorry about that.
