June the 4th down the beach front purely for fitness training.Every monday there after.
Thursday nights Geraint is now helping us in training as he has done his first coaching badges.
Training is now harder and a lot better, six passes before you can score(passing is definatly improving),when the ball goes out either 5 press ups or sit ups for everybody. If you give a really bad ball which goes out you have to run the length of the pitch .
Obviously we ve said attending training is not possible for everybody, but I would seriously encourage everybody who can make it to turn up. The more we train together the more we ll get to know each other building a better team spirit and how we can all play together.
We will not win this League next year if we don t all have the same attitude towards fitness and winning.
Friendlies will not start until August we ve got to wait for the posts to go up.

can we have friendlies against other people than the church league rhys? no offense..........but theres a MASSIVE difference in physicality in the normal saturday league and ours........a friendly against baglan for example would b easy to arrange and could help us gain experience as they are not a bad team! even if we lose its experience, most probbaly added with a few bruises and akers not shutting up.......but worth it i reckon! any views rhys/gaffer?

I am planning a meeting with Neil, Rhys and Rod in next couple of weeks and this is one of the issues I want to raise [along with kit, first aid equip' etc]. We touched on it briefly after church this morning before we knew about your note.
I accept there is a big difference in the normal Sat league but we do play in the UCL. That said in principle I do not have an objection to playing say Baglan in a friendly. We will discuss the type of opposition we want in pre season friendlies at the meeting and post on here when we have set up the friendly matches.
As Rhys said they can't take place before August anyway. For the record I think Rhys is away for a week now in case you wondered if he was going to reply.

Yeah i used to play for Baglan could organise a friendly with them. I think all the uni boys are back either this week or next so we can have a decent training session and talk about stuff for next season. x
